Launched by the BTA in June 2026, the Accreditation Scheme was developed exclusively for its TMC members to provide businesses with a clear, independent benchmark when selecting a travel management partner. The scheme addresses a long-standing gap identified by procurement teams, who have previously had no consistent, independent basis on which to asses the professional credentials of a TMC.

To achieve accreditation, FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller underwent a rigorous evaluation and were required to provide evidence across six key areas:

  • Business stability and governance
  • Insurance and financial protection
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Professional competence
  • Client service standards
  • Business continuity plans

Meeting or exceeding the required standard in each of these areas confirms that both FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller operate to the highest levels of governance, compliance and client trust, giving business travel buyers added confidence and assurance when choosing either brand as their trusted TMC partner.

As two of the first companies to sign-up to the scheme, FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller’s accreditation underlines their ongoing commitment to transparency, professionalism and continuous improvement across its global corporate travel offering.
