Important Update: Air Canada Strike Update and Your Travel Plans
Early this morning, Air Canada and its Flight Attendant union reached a tentative agreement, marking a significant step forward and offering much-welcomed news.
While this development is promising, we understand there may still be uncertainty around the normalization of operations. We anticipate that travel disruptions could continue for the next several days as the situation stabilizes.
Action Steps:
If your travel with Air Canada, or any other travels is within the next 72 hours, and you require emergency assistance:
- Please call or email After-Hours service (afterhours@corporatetraveller.ca) or use Melon Chat immediately so we can prioritize your request.
If your travel is NOT within the next 72 hours and is affected by the Air Canada strike:
- Please contact your dedicated Travel Manager during regular office hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm local time) to review your options.
If you have travel booked with Air Canada between August 15–22, 2025, you may be eligible for Air Canada’s Flexible Rebooking Policy:
- One free change up to 2 hours before departure (Air Canada-operated flights only)
- Difference in fare waived if rebooked in the same cabin, to/from the same origin/destination
- Rebooking window: August 23 – September 30, 2025
