About the Integration

The integration works on a scheduled batch basis, typically running daily. This approach ensures reliability and aligns with standard Australian finance processes - your team always has up-to-date travel data in MYOB Acumatica without needing to trigger anything manually. 

When an invoice is generated by Corporate Traveller, the data is automatically extracted and transmitted to MYOB Acumatica in a standardised format. MYOB Acumatica then either creates a new invoice or matches the data to an existing purchase order, with all critical fields mapped automatically. 

The PDF invoice is attached to each transaction in MYOB Acumatica, giving finance teams easy access to source documents for reconciliation and audit purposes. 

Note: The integration covers invoiced travel booked through Corporate Traveller. Bookings made outside of Corporate Traveller or paid directly to vendors are not captured in the automated flow. 

How Your Data Flows

The integration works end-to-end, from the moment a booking is confirmed to when it appears in your accounts payable workflow. 

  • Step 1 - Book travel with Corporate Traveller: Book flights, hotels, and cars through Corporate Traveller. All booking details, costs, and traveller information are captured automatically. 
  • Step 2 - Invoice generated: Upon ticketing or booking completion, an invoice is automatically generated with relevant financial and travel details ready for transmission. 
  • Step 3 - Secure API transmission: A secure API connection sends your travel invoice data straight into MYOB Acumatica. Data is extracted and shared in a standardised format, ensuring compatibility and integrity through the transfer. 
  • Step 4 - Data received and mapped in MYOB Acumatica: MYOB Acumatica receives the data and either creates a new invoice or matches it to an existing purchase order. Invoice number, amount, supplier details, and cost centre allocation are automatically mapped. 
  • Step 5 - Ready for reconciliation: Travel spend appears in MYOB Acumatica with full detail, helping finance teams reconcile faster and maintain accurate records.

Integration Requirements

Before activating the integration, confirm that your business meets the following minimum requirements: 

  • You are using MYOB Acumatica Version 4 (Cloud) 
  • You have an active API license, or are willing to upgrade your subscription to include one 
  • You have a nominated technical contact and account contact available for the implementation process 

If you cannot confirm all three requirements at this stage, speak with your Corporate Traveller contact before proceeding. 

Once confirmed, the next steps are straightforward: 

  • Step 1: Sign the Data Authorisation Form included with this guide. 
  • Step 2: Send your Corporate Traveller contact confirmation that you have met the validation criteria, along with the signed Data Authorisation Form. 
  • Step 3: Your Corporate Traveller contact will walk you through the implementation process, your intended go-live date, and the technical information needed from your MYOB Acumatica environment.
