Finnair unveils more business travel options

For some trips, it’s important to have comfier surroundings to get some work done, or to rest up ahead of a busy few days. Our airline partner Finnair has recently announced a new cabin and seat that will make those flights to Helsinki and connecting beyond more comfortable and productive.

Plus, their new winter 2022 flight schedule has been announced, meaning more connections into Asia.

Finnair seat

New AirLounge seats

Finnair is the launch customer of the new Collins Aerospace AirLounge seat, found in the airline’s new Business Class cabin. Inspired by lounge furniture there’s lots of sitting options; you can sit at different angles, rest your feet on the ottoman or use infill panels to create a large flat surface. And if you want a nap, the seat easily turns into a bed with a mattress, duvet and pillow. Need privacy? You’ll get it with the seat’s contoured, cocoon-like shell. Or if you want to talk to your neighbour, just lower the divider between the central seats.

The new seats will be rolled out across Finnair’s entire long-haul fleet of A330s and A350s. Winter 22/23 will see the new seats on flights to Singapore, Tokyo, New York, Phuket and selected flights to Bangkok. Find out more here.

Finnair Premium Economy

New Premium Economy

A new travel option for long-haul flights, Finnair’s new Premium Economy has approximately 50% more space than Economy Class. The intimate and dedicated cabin has a maximum of just 26 passengers, with unique textiles from renowned Finnish design house Marimekko for a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Features include memory foam cushions, a deep 8” recline, waterfall leg rest and 6-way headrest. Dedicated stowage for laptops and small personal items is incorporated to the design, so that customers have everything they need at their fingertips throughout their flight. Find out more information on the cabin here.
